Cookie Policy

> Working legal draft — not legal advice. Audit the live Shopify storefront, theme, pixels, apps, embedded media, and consent configuration before publication. Remove categories that are not used and name material providers that are used.

Effective date: November 4, 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files or identifiers placed on or read from a browser or device. Related technologies can include local storage, pixels, tags, SDKs, and similar tools. They help a storefront remember a session, keep a cart working, prevent fraud, measure performance, save choices, and—if enabled—understand marketing activity.

This policy explains the categories that a Shopify storefront for NARRATIVIX LLC may use. It is not a claim that every possible cookie or advertising tool is active.

2. Strictly necessary technologies

Necessary technologies support functions such as page navigation, storefront security, load balancing, fraud prevention, checkout, payment routing, cart contents, consent records, account or subscription access where offered, and accessibility-related choices. The store may not function correctly without them.

Because these technologies are used to provide a service requested by the visitor or protect the storefront, they may operate regardless of optional-cookie choices where applicable law permits. Blocking them in browser settings can prevent checkout, cart, access, or security features from working.

3. Preference technologies

Preference technologies remember choices such as region, currency, interface state, consent selections, or other storefront settings. They can reduce repeated questions and help the store return in the state a visitor selected.

The live build should not claim that a preference is saved unless the relevant feature and storage are actually present.

4. Analytics and performance technologies

If enabled, analytics and performance technologies help NARRATIVIX understand matters such as page loads, navigation paths, product-page visits, errors, device categories, broad referral sources, and aggregated store activity. This information can be used to diagnose problems and improve product organization or page clarity.

Analytics should not be described as anonymous unless the actual configuration supports that statement. IP addresses, device identifiers, and event data may still be personal information under applicable law. Optional analytics should follow the consent choices required for the visitor’s region.

5. Marketing technologies

The initial content plan does not require behavioral-advertising pixels. If advertising, retargeting, social-platform pixels, or cross-site measurement are added later, this policy, the Privacy Policy, and the live consent controls must be updated before those tools are enabled. The update should identify the purpose and material providers and explain available opt-out or consent choices.

No visitor should infer from this draft that NARRATIVIX currently sells personal information or shares it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Embedded and third-party content

The site may later embed video, scheduling, file-transfer, course, membership, review, or support tools. An embedded provider may receive device, network, and interaction information or set its own technologies when the content loads. Where practical, optional embeds should load only after the required consent.

Links that take you away from the NARRATIVIX storefront are governed by the destination’s policy. NARRATIVIX does not control a third party’s cookies merely because its site is linked.

7. Shopify

The storefront is intended to operate on Shopify. Shopify uses technologies to provide hosting, security, cart and checkout, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and other commerce functions. Installed Shopify apps can add their own technologies. The final cookie inventory must be taken from the live store after the theme and apps are installed; this draft does not invent cookie names or retention periods before that configuration exists.

8. Your choices

Where a consent control is available, you can accept, reject, or adjust optional categories. Necessary technologies may remain active. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser, use private-browsing features, or adjust device privacy controls. Browser blocking can remove saved preferences or interfere with the storefront.

Your choice may apply only to the browser and device on which it was made. Clearing storage or changing browsers can require a new choice. “Do Not Track” signals are not handled uniformly across the industry. The published store should state its actual treatment of legally recognized opt-out signals after configuration and review.

9. Retention

Cookie and related-data retention varies by purpose and provider. Session technologies may expire when the browser closes; other choices or measurements can persist. NARRATIVIX does not publish invented durations in this draft. The final live inventory and provider documentation should be used to supply accurate durations where required.

10. Updates

We may update this policy when the storefront, Shopify configuration, apps, analytics, embedded tools, or legal requirements change. The effective date shows the current version. Material changes to optional tracking should be reflected in the consent interface as well as this page.
